Mobile HD devices have taken the place of more specialized HD photo and video solutions for many consumers.
Although the quality and feature set is much more limited the consumer has opted for the the convenience and accessibility. A prime example of this behavior in another market segment is the broad range of consumers have adopted the netflix platform. Now given a bluray player that can provide them perfect HD movies the feature they are most excited about is the Netflix streaming even though the video quality is a step down from the dvds they have been watching for years.
